In 1968, Supratechnic Pte Ltd was incorporated in Singapore.
In 2009, Supratechnic was ranked 249th in the Singapore Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) 500 listing. The Singapore SME 500 is the nation’s only independent and most authoritative ranking initiative, widely recognized as the national corporate benchmark.
Supratechnic (M) Sdn. Bhd. has been a marine products distributor of Outboard Motor Engines (OBM) since its establishment in 1981 and currently represents a number of premium brands in Malaysia. Employing more than 40 staff across 7 locations, Supratechnic (M) Sdn. Bhd. strives to maintain high operational standards to provide quality products and after-sales service to our valued customers.
As an established and reputable marine solutions company, Supratechnic was appointed as the exclusive distributor of Hidea outboard engines for Malaysia and Singapore in 2025.
About Hidea
Hangzhou Hidea Power Machinery Co., Ltd. is a national specialized new “little giant” enterprise integrating outboard engine research and development, intelligent manufacturing, and service. Located in Hangzhou, China’s city of quality, the company has an annual design and production capacity of 100,000 outboard engine sets.
The Hidea outboard intelligent production factory adopts advanced foreign equipment, automated flow operations, robotic systems, and data control and collection to ensure that Hidea outboard engines reach the international advanced level of quality within the industry.
Hidea outboard engines are categorized into two-stroke, four-stroke, electronic fuel injection (EFI), LPG, and other series. Its distribution network spans five continents across more than 80 countries and regions. With stable, reliable product quality and a comprehensive after-sales service system, the Hidea brand enjoys a world-renowned reputation.
Hidea has passed ISO9001 international quality system certification, CCS certification of China Classification Society, EPA certification of United States and CE certification of European Union. Hidea has won the honours of provincial enterprise Research Institute, Zhejiang Export Famous brand, high-tech enterprise, Zhejiang Hidden champion enterprise, Zhejiang special small and medium-sized enterprise, and national specialized new “little giant” enterprise.
Additionally, Hidea serves as the outboard engine industry standard drafting unit in China.
